| TermLad II project | |
The project on the Ladin legal and administrative terminology, TermLad II, aims at compiling terminology entries in the field of administrative law. Thanks to the municipalities of the Valleys Gardena and Badia, the Office for Language Issues of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano/Bozen, the Ladin Pedagogical Institute, and the Ladin Cultural Institute ‘Micurà de Rü’, about 5000 documents were assembled in three languages: Italian, German and Ladin. The collected administrative documents were converted to electronic format and constitute the trilingual corpus of the EURAC, CLE, which can be consulted on-line. The corpus makes it possible to document the use of existing Ladin administrative terminology and to develop translation proposals for the missing terminology. All the results of this terminology work are made freely available in bistro, the Information System for legal terminology. The TermLad II project was approved within the Interreg IIIA Italy-Switzerland programme, and benefits from the collaboration of the ‘Lia Rumantscha’. ![]() ![]() | ||
